ALTIUS EDUCATION
The da Vinci Decathlon is an academic competition designed to challenge and stimulate the minds of school students. Students compete in teams of eight across 10 disciplines: engineering, mathematics and chess, code breaking, art and poetry, science, English, philosophy, creative producers, cartography and general knowledge.
Altius Education is proud to offer Years 5 & 6 students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a simulated da Vinci Decathlon experience over a period of a term. This course is suitable for those who are interested in preparing to compete for a place on their school’s team; or simply for those students who are interested in enriching their learning and skills in a variety of disciplines which are not traditionally offered in many primary school settings.
We are proud to have an expert da Vinci gifted & talented teacher oversee our course to ensure an authentic experience for our students. He has also been an author and marker of the actual papers which have been used in the real da Vinci Decathlon competition.
Students will need to be ‘pre-qualified’ to join in order for us to maintain a high standard of excellence which is required for this course.
